For doctors, practice groups, and medical institutions trying to keep up with technology in the ever-changing fields of Aesthetics, Body Contouring, and Plastic Surgery, Doctor's Toy Store, Florida's largest medical showroom, now offers two very popular Aesthetic machines at great prices that'll make you and your wallet smile: Pure Sculpt and Power Cannula System and Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF.

And with Hurricane Ian fresh on everyone's mind, Doctors, what's the state of your Emergency Medical Equipment on hand?
DTS has you covered there, too, with a full array of equipment you need to have at your practice.

So let's discuss in a little more detail, with both facts and photos, those two featured Aesthetic machines available right now at Doctor's Toy Store and how they can help you and your practice grow.

Introducing the Pure Sculpt Power Assisted Liposuction Unit, the latest technology and equipment now available at The Doctor’s Toy Store.

A new power-assisted liposuction device, the Pure Sculpt reduces superficial to large volumes of fat for more precise body sculpting and contouring. As opposed to power assisted liposuction devices like the MicroAire Powered Assisted Liposuction and other reciprocating power liposuction devices, the Pure Sculpt operates in a rotating manner. This unique rotational motion generated by the system allows physicians to remove fatty tissue all the way around the cannula, rather than just above or below the ports. The powered handpiece speeds up traditional liposuction cases, but unlike other power-assisted devices, the handpiece is very lightweight and vibration is minimal.

As opposed to the MicroAire or Vibrasat Pro, the Pure Sculpt has an internal structure that is much more mechanical. The system has no proprietary consumables and the cannulas are all stainless steel along with the handpiece. It is the only Power Assisted Liposuction device that utilizes such exclusive, and best built cannulas. Compare that to Power X, which uses metal gears with plastic.

What has made the MicroAire great for decades has been reintroduced in the mechanical structure and incorporated to produce the most efficient and effective rotational power assisted liposuction device on the market. Instead of a jackhammer effect, the rotational motion causes a significant decrease in trauma to fat cells and the vascular system which increases the opportunities of a successful fat transfer.

If for any reason the handpiece stops working because emergencies happen more often than not, the Pure Sculpt system comes with a manual handpiece and premium stainless steel cannula for traditional liposuction.

This Power Assisted Liposuction Unit is designed to remove localized deposits of excess fat through a small incision. Contouring specific areas on a body with the Pure Sculpt Power Assisted Liposuction Unit results will be achieved. Using a lightweight comfortable hand-piece with an oscillating movement the procedure will be just that much more simple. Also giving the physician the simplicity of using the Power Assisted Liposuction Hand-piece, giving ease of stress on the wrist and hands.

Setting the Pure Sculpt Powered Assisted Liposuction Unit to the desired angle of oscillating motion for the cannula can be set to 90°, 180°, 360°, or 720°.

Once the angle is set then the physician can proceed to setting the desired procedure time.

Unlike other Liposuction Units, with the Pure Sculpt both the hand-piece and the cord are autoclavable. It is recommended to use a power cable protector sleeve during procedures to extend the life of the cable, making it an easier process to clean and sterilize. Although they are both able to be sterilized it is also recommended to place both the hand-piece and the cord into a sterilization pouch then proceeding to sterilization.

The second system we'll discuss today is the Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF by Aesthetics Biomedical, another great value now available at DTS at a price that'll bring a smile to your face! 😀

The Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF by Aesthetics Biomedical is the state-of-the-art-technology that you've been looking for! 😀

How do you stop wrinkles? When you have the right equipment, it's as simple as Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF.
When your patients are asking for it by name because they've done THEIR research, what's YOUR excuse for not being able to satisfy them and having it in your practice's toolbox?

Dr.'s Toy Store has been serving as an authorized dealer of Vivace's cutting-edge technology for a few years now, and Rob has watched as medical professionals have repeatedly told him and his staff that the sleek and elegantly-designed equipment makes the kind of good first impression on your clients that you want, and with it, you have one less excuse for NOT having the equipment that your clients are asking about.

Today Rob and his team are featuring an amazing state-of-the-art product that continues to become ever more popular as more and more consumers investigate it, learn about its great track record, and, increasingly are asking for it by name when they schedule a consultation with a doctor about skin tightening and rejuvenation: the Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF.

Vivace Micro needling! BEST DEAL!

DTS YouTube Channel video at https://youtu.be/GJD3iFlEY0g

In the video above, Rob discusses one of the more amazing products he has at Florida's largest medical showroom, the Vivace Fractional Micro Needle RF from Aesthetics Biomedical, a device which allows surgeons to work smarter, easier and more efficiently, and with much-better results for their patient's goals.

As Rob says in the video above, a lot of medical professionals are getting into the micro-needling market because it's a business niche that's growing larger... EVERY year.
Rob decided to become an authorized dealer for Vivace largely because its line of products are not only simple and easy to use, but more importantly, offer doctors and practice groups a pain-free device to use on patients, as opposed to the Scarlet RF Micro-needling or Morpheus Fractional Treatment systems, which are twice the price of the Vivace.

Vivace is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a combination of micro-needling and radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Developed by Aesthetics Biomedical, this minimally invasive treatment can help make your skin firmer, tighter, and smoother. It also addresses concerns like facial wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars, large pores, and uneven skin tone and texture.

Most doctors recommend a course of three to four treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, for optimal results. This cadence aligns with the natural pace of skin cell turnover.

Completely contrary to common sense, logic and Florida's Sunshine Laws, Hollywood city officials, including the city's soon-to-be-resigning Planning Director, Leslie Del Monte, allowed several representatives of The Related Group to speak today for 25 minutes at the city's PACO meeting re their very unpopular 1301 S. Ocean Dr. project

Updated Sept. 22, 2022 at 1:00 a.m.

A VERY reliable and well-informed person -and upset- called me late this afternoon to tell me that, completely contrary to Florida's Sunshine Laws, Hollywood city officials, including the city's soon-to-be-resigning Planning Director, Leslie Del Monte, allowed several representatives of The Related Group to speak this afternoon for 25 minutes at the city's PACO meeting re their very unpopular 1301 S. Ocean Dr. project.
A project that continues going forward despite a lack of support among the community AND The Related Group NOT having the REQUIRED community meeting with the public as the city's own rules mandate.

It's the city's own requirement, NOT a suggestion.

And again, what happened today took place despite 1301 NOT being listed by the city as an agenda item on the city's website or any printed agenda.

I'm also told that it was a VERY, VERY chummy 25 minutes, too, like a bunch of
old friends just talking about things amongst themselves like they always do when nobody outside their small inner circle knowing anything about it.

I'm further informed by this same trusted source that several City of Hollywood Commissioners were/are blindsided by this news, and had no idea that The Related Group was going to be allowed -encouraged?to participate at the meeting by city officials
WITHOUT any public awareness or ability by the public to engage or protest what was taking place.

Yes, more than ever, as I've said before, "Special rules for special people" should be the City of Hollywood's official slogan.

By the way, WHERE exactly are the links to any 2022 PACO meetings on the city's own
website? http://fl-hollywood.civicplus.com/Archive.aspx?AMID=105

Zip. Nada. Nothing. Goose Egg.
No PACO meetings have been posted on the city's website since February of 2021.

Don't kid yourself, things like this do NOT all happen by accident!

FYI, I tweeted about this around 5:15 pm on my way back to Hollywood.

If you aren't currently Following me on my Twitter feed or regularly visiting my blog on your own every few days, you might want to strongly consider doing both going forward so you have a better context for understanding just what is taking place right in front of all of us at Hollywood City Hall.

Not by accident, but, rather as part of someone's plan.

The very dangerous precedent for the future that the Hollywood and Miami Beach City Commissions are making by showing thru both word and deed, that their own land use ordinances mean nothing when The Related Group comes calling

Residents and stakeholders of #HollywoodFL and #MiamiBeach are quite rightfully fearful of the very dangerous precedents their two respective City Commissions are clearly making by showing thru both words and deeds, that their own land use ordinances mean nothing when The Related Group comes calling.

Mean nothing, that is, IF there are deep-pocketed real estate developers interested in doing something the clear majority of the community is opposed to, but the firm is willing to ignore existing public sentiment against it because they have the resources not to care about the optics to others of ignoring the community's desires.

I've been meaning for the last few months to share my thoughts regarding this New York Times story by former Miami Herald reporter Patricia Mazzei, at bottom, involving The Deauville Hotel

The Deauville is a historic Miami Beach property and also is one that I had occasion to go to several times over the years while growing-up in South Florida from 1968-1979, before I left for college and the cream and crimson of Indiana University, Bloomington.

I hasten to add, in my case, I was always going to The Deauville to see people visiting from out-of-town, NOT to stay overnight and make myself known to room service.

For me at least, the story on The Deauville, below, serves as a timely reminder that the worst thing about The Related Group's incompatible plan for 1301 S. Ocean Drive on Hollywood Beach isn't merely that Mayor Josh Levy's snarky, passive-aggressive, and decidedly anti-transparent approach led to approximately ZERO of the REQUIRED public in-person COMMUNITY meetings taking place. either before (or since) the first public Hollywood City Commission meeting, when the Hollywood public was NOT even allowed inside Hollywood City Hall to directly confront the very people trying to change the charm and ambiance of that part of Hollywood Beach. The most natural part of Hollywood Beach that remains..

FTszzsgXsAIZdpW.jpg

Nor was it even the City's thin-skinned Communications Dept. peevishly and repeatedly attacking and demeaning people like my friend, Cat Uden and I online in our individual efforts to let the larger Hollywood and South Florida community know via the South Florida news media what was REALLY taking place.

That includes the continuing lack of good faith the City's elected officials had shown Hollywood's citizens and stakeholders, whom THEY work for.

As it happens, Cat and I both have strong backbones and thick skins, plus, we have the advantage of having the facts on our side, and if you didn't already know it, the City's elected officials and Communications Dept. really, really hate... facts.
So this discrepancy, this ability to use their own information against them, really burns them, as does our success in getting the facts out to the larger public and the local, state and national news media.
Especially self-evident facts that can be wholly substantiated by both contemporaneous photographs and video.

No, it's not even the fact that supposed nature-lover, water sports-loving Josh Levy would, if successful, destroy, FOREVER, for nothing more than money, a place with a certain and unique ambiance that the community places a very high value on maintaining for future generations - THE most natural part of Hollywood Beach.
FSLP8uDX0AA-Uw3.jpg
vs.
 FTszzsgWUAE4Abf.jpg

It isn't even that both proposed projects are -coincidentally- the handiwork of The Related Group. That almost was predictable, given the landscape of real estate development in Florida in 2022.

No, what's the worst thing of all in the case of the Hollywood Beach project is the terrible precedent it sets for the future, since it would likely set in motion a constant game of musical chairs on the beach, as local Mom and Pop hospitality businesses owning smaller properties decide that if the city's elected officials are publicly declaring by both their words and their deeds that the city's own rules and ordinances don't mean anything -since Related wants to build a luxury condo tower there for multi-millionaires that's 5-7x's larger than what's currently allowed on that part of the beach- why should they stay on the sidelines and be played for suckers?

If you understand anything at all about human behavior and how things have traditionally operated in South Florida when it comes to real estate, then you know that I'm right.
The reason is simple.
Because, suddenly, as a result of what Hollywood City Hall will have done, there will be no incentive at all for the smaller and successful property owners to invest more of their money and time to improve their current low-scale site.
They'll simply wait the neighborhood out until someone comes in with such a huge offer for their property that they decide to seell.

When that happens, goodbye Hollywood Beach ambiance and charm.
Forever.

If you didn't know it or may've forgotten it, The Deauville is where The Beatles, famously,  stayed and performed in February of 1964 on CBS-TV's Sunday night blockbuster, The Ed Sullivan Showhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEzPROIIlk4

One last thing, and it's a sign of the times about journalism as it's practiced in South Florida these days. You know what I could not find?

A single local story where Cuban-American Alex Meruelo, owner of the Meruelo Group, the owner of The Deauville, was/is actually asked why he allowed the property to become so run-down that it was deemed unsafe by the City of Miami Beach.
How do you explain that?
Exactly.
"Today, the Deauville is shuttered, enclosed by an ugly chain-link fence. Soon, it is likely to be demolished. Preservationists fear the hotel’s slow demise will set a troubling precedent in their efforts to protect South Florida’s history."

Miami Beach owes its iconic status in no small part to the preservation of its Art Deco district, known the world over for the string of pastel-colored boutique hotels. But it has not always been easy to preserve buildings elsewhere in South Florida.
In its heyday, the Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach hosted the likes of The Beatles, Sammy Davis Jr. and President John F. Kennedy. Soon, the hotel is likely to be demolished, which historic preservationists fear will set a troubling precedent.
“Miami is a place where the land has always been more valuable than the building...There’s no shared history, and when you have no shared history and no shared culture, you have no shared commitment to maintaining that history or that culture.”
"The four-acre property, valued some years ago at $100 million, is owned by a corporate entity registered to the Meruelo family, which runs other hotels and casinos and also works in construction."

FYI: "In the event of a total demolition, Miami Beach would be legally entitled to limit future construction to the Deauville’s same size."

What exactly is the Broward Planning Council up to now regarding ending a means of public engagement on issues of great public importance?

What is the reason that #Broward Co. Comm. is "exploring" removing
public's ability to participate + engage w/Broward Planning Council over a county
phone line? How is this a positive thing for residents/public? At 6:02 mark on video of July Broward Planning Council meeting.
https://vimeo.com/showcase/7896825?video=733993207

Today I'm sharing some news with you that I believe is both important AND interesting, which is not always the case. no?

This news is something that I first discovered by accident a few weeks ago while researching another City of Hollywood and Broward County public policy story I'm working on, the details of which will be posted here in the coming weeks for your careful perusal and consideration.

(I mentioned this news publicly for the first time last week on my popular Twitter feed, @hbbtruth. Obviously, I'm always looking for new people like you to begin Following me there on Twitter to keep up with things going on below-the radar and behind-the-scenes that I find out about or want to share before they appear here on my blog in a much-longer format.)

So, right now, for today at least, I'm NOT going to call the cavalry, point fingers, go off on a tangent, or otherwise make allegations that I can not substantiate.
Instead, I'm merely going to point you towards a very revealing Broward government-prepared video that I believe you should take a look at for yourself, where you are free to come to your own conclusions about what it might mean for the public and stakeholders' ability to communicate with government representatives, and make their voices heard on important issues of public concern involving tens of thousands of people, not to mention, their Quality of Life.

From what I have been able to gather, it looks like the professional staff of the Broward Planning Council -headquartered in the Broward County govt. bldg. on Andrews Avenue that also houses the elected Broward County Commission- and perhaps some members of the County Commission are VERY interested in pulling the plug on one of the ways that the general public can communicate with the 20 appointed members of the Broward Planning Council, who are largely elected officials from the thirty-something cities making up Broward County. As we know from experience, there are different rules for real estate developers and their army of lawyers, architects, planners and related helper minions.

As many of you longtime readers of this blog know, this appointed group is one that I have spoken to in the past involving very important development issues in Hallandale Beach that were being crammed down the throats of HB residents, taxpayers and stakeholders by the HB City Commission at HB City Hall. It being Hallandale Beach, this was often/usually done with only the mere pretense of public accountability, transparency or fairness that residents could have expected..

Shocker! This was done under the same HB mayor who is now ruling the roost there, Joy Cooper, who, somehow, got the great luck to have been given perhaps the dumbest jury in Broward County history a few years ago, who seem to have ignored a mountain of evidence and instead acquit her of multiple criminal charges, after she'd been arrested after being recorded repeatedly trying to get election campaign donations/payoffs from undercover FBI agents posing as real estate developers, in exchange for her help with votes on the dais involving development in the city.

As of now, barring any hurricanes in the interim, the next scheduled meeting of the Broward Planning Council is Wednesday September 22nd at 10:00 am in the Broward County Commission chambers. If I get any word, official explanation or not, for what's going on with the plug perhaps being pulled on citizens but not real estate developers, I'll post my update here!
