Above, Hallandale Beach City Hall. Despite what the Broward Supervisor of Elections sign says, the actual Early Voting is taking place behind City Hall at the HB Cultural Center. If you are not the sort of person who has spent much time around HB City Hall before, the number-one thing you're likley to come away thinking is, "Why does such a relatively small city have so many vehicles?" It's even worse when you know the truth, and know how many of the cars are never actually used, which is why you see spider webs near the tires of so many. Then, once you leave, within about five minutes, you'll spot about 6-9 more HB cars on the road, each with one person. It's no way to run a city, that's for sure! The questions are numbered on the city's website, but they are NOT numbered on Broward County's absentee ballot.
Yes, we're surrounded by geniuses!
