Heavenly! A month before her film 'Monica Z' opens in Sweden on September 13th, Edda Magnason sings "Sakta vi gå hem genom stan” (Slowly we walk through town) LIVE on SVT's Allsång på Skansen, Stockholm, August 13, 2013, on the last show of 2013. With lyrics! Now THAT'S how you promote a film featuring great music!; #monicaz, #eddamagnason, @manszelmerlow, @svtallsang, @PeterBirro</ blockquote>

— Sweden.se (@swedense) July 19, 2013
For someone like me who is a longtime recycling enthusiast, one of the best things about Sweden is the average person's commitment to keeping the city and nature free of debris. You pay a few SEK for products packaged in recyclable plastic or aluminum, like sodas, at both stores and from vendors, but get your money back via self-serve machines when you recycle at stores. All of this gives people a real financial incentive to return items to stores, as well as for others to pick-up any you see lying on roads or in parks and get that money, which is one of the reasons that Stockholm is SO CLEAN!

In my opinion, only one of the best people-watching places in all of Stockholm, esp, when the ice skating rink is open in the winter! Unlike in Miami where there's lot of wasted space near Metrorail stations, there, The Pizza Hut a block away is located ABOVE one of the the T-bana station exits and across the street from the Scandic Hotel Malmen. In January, one weekday night, for about an hour, while sipping some coffee on a bench and trying my best to keep my camera covered and warm, amd watching people ice skate, I also watched dozens of entire families make like ants and pull/carry/push Christmas trees down city sidewalks over to a recycling area set up there on the plaza, something you'd never see in a million years in South Florida. And on my way back to the hotel, I saw more families with trees heading that way. Now that's commitment!
