Hallandale Beach Blog -A common sense public policy overview offering a critical perspective on the current events, politics, govt., public policy, sports scene and pop culture of the U.S., South Florida, Europe and Sweden. In particular, Broward & Miami-Dade County, and the cities of Hallandale Beach, Hollywood & Aventura. Trust me when I tell you, this part of Florida is NOT the Land of Lincoln. Poor Annie! So our favorite CIA operative, adorable and moxie-filled Annie, went on a combination business trip/vacation to Stockholm in December with her sister Danielle, but no sooner was she out of the terminal at Arlanda when she gets a phone call from Langley saying that there'd been change in plans.

After all sorts of adventures in Stockholm and the archipelago, with some excellent shots of the scenery, Annie winds-up in a crazy shoot-out with an assassin and finally has to tell her sister that she works for the CIA as an operative, had a thing for someone at work who's blind...

Annie Walker's life only gets more complicated tonight on the season premiere of USA's Covert Affairs at 10 p.m. Eastern. Yes, after the season premiere of White Collar, also another favorite of ours, as tonight starts this summer's heated White Collar vs. Rizzoli & Isles battle.

Me in the Summer of 2016

Me in the Summer of 2016
Above, me in June, pre-recent haircut, near acres and acres of orange groves off Scenic U.S. #17 in Frostproof, FL, while visiting hot/humid Central Florida, which I'm convinced is where heat/humidity goes in the Summer to get away from it all... The oppressive heat & humidity there is literally everywhere you go. :-(
