You aren't fooling anyone with your self-evident apathy, and are only appeasing/rewarding all the unethical pols who are only too happy that the paper doesn't show up to cover their public meetings, esp. in Hallandale Beach, where the Herald hasn't sent a reporter to a City Commission meeting in over a year.
As of 3 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon in June, this section has five so-called stories:
1. Five sentences about a Broward budget workshop on TV Tuesday.
2. A list of Broward births from May 1st-20th.
3. A 12-sentence Palm Beach Post story on a struggling program at FAU.
4. Friday's weather in M-D.
5. "Coral Springs home could be yours through $50 raffle."
So that's what passes for "news" in the 4th-largest county in the
4th-largest state in the U.S.?
