Inspiring! Hillsborough tribute single becomes 2012 Christmas #1 song in U.K. and raises money for a noble cause -legal costs for victims' relatives campaigning for justice for the 96 Liverpool fans who perished, and to keep pressure on for unraveling the police cover-up; Robbie Williams' voice never sounded better -or more like B.J. Thomas' voice!

It's gone completely unremarked upon here in the United States, even in most of the so-called entertainment and pop culture press -Variety, Entertainment Weekly, PEOPLE, et al- but the last few weeks of the year in Great Britain have brought forth a very heartwarming public response to -and some much-needed attention for- some people who needed help, and simultaneously, has resulted in some of the best sheer musical sounds and talent of the entire year to be heard.
