Tomorrow: the Hallandale Beach crime wave you haven't heard about

Sometimes you just walk right into a story that practically writes itself.

So it was for South Beach Hoosier/Hallandale Beach Blog on Friday afternoon, which is why it's likely that on Sunday at some point, I'll have a story for you here that I never saw coming.

Tomorrow: the Hallandale Beach crime wave you haven't heard about

And possible reasons why.

Lest you think otherwise in our era of digital derring-do criminals, this particular crime wave is not the least bit 'nouvelle vague,' but rather 'old school' in the extreme.

And takes place in broad daylight, not under the cover of night.

You may've even seen it happen and not realized what was going on.

So, if things go well, and people cooperate, Hallandale Beach Blog will make it possible for you to have a look at one of the persons who's most responsible for some crimes in the city, even while the Hallandale Beach Police Dept. tells crime victims to call the right person in the bureaucracy chain, and after they do and leaves phone messages s -never hears back from them.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking.

Shocker!

Until then, take a look at Crime Scene blog, "A peek behind the police lines from Herald crime reporters" http://miamiherald.typepad.com/crime_scene/
