Faint signal heard 1,000 kilometers off Brazil
coast by French mini-sub Nautile of what may
be the black box of Air France 447, which
perished three weeks ago.
While regular manned mini-sub has difficulties
going deep, their un-manned research subs
can go to depth of 6,000 meters.
I watch/listen to France Vingt-Quatre's
streaming broadcast in English from Paris
on my iGoogle while on my computer after
midnight, and on weekends, to catch up
on world news, and I'm always glad I do.
And then tonight, out of nowhere... I heard
their amazing account of what LeMonde
is reporting now, supplemented by
France 24's interviews with reporters in
Brazil .
